Pastor Dr. Debora “Deb” Carrera is an inspirational leader, speaker, and author with over 31 years of ministry experience. Passionate about guiding others to fulfill their potential, she teaches scripture, leads worship, and helps individuals embrace their identity in Christ. She is the author of two devotionals, Love, Pastor Deb, and Deeply Wounded Women of the Bible.

Dr. Carrera currently serves as the City of Philadelphia’s Chief Education Officer, bringing over 27 years of experience from the School District of Philadelphia, where she advanced from teacher to principal to Assistant Superintendent. She later contributed her expertise at the Pennsylvania Department of Education in multiple senior leadership roles. Dr. Carrera, a lifelong advocate for children and families, is dedicated to implementing Mayor Parker’s education vision, prioritizing year-round learning, impactful out- of-school programs, school-building modernization, and strategic outreach to educators. She also plays a key role in recruiting candidates for the School Board. Honored to lead this mission, she is committed to fostering innovation and ensuring a world-class education system for Philadelphia's learners of all ages

and backgrounds.

Dr. Carrera holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education from Temple University, a master’s degree in educational leadership from St. Joseph’s University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Gwynedd Mercy University. She is married to Rev. Dr. Jose L. Carrera and is the proud mother of three sons, Micah, Jeremiah, and Daniel, as well as a loving mother-in-law to Rasa. She also adores her beloved dog, Kamy Carrera.

Safiya Terrell is a woman after God’s own heart, who lives a life of total surrender, sacrifice, and service. As a 21st Century ambassador for Christ, she has an anointing to minister to those who have broken identities, and who suffer the pain of past traumas, abuses, and psychological oppressions.

With a Master’s degree in Education, as well as a being a Board Certified Christian Counselor, with multiple years of

experience in behavioral health, Safiya has a unique

ability to identify emotional wounds, barriers, and strongholds,

that keep people in sin cycles and repeated patterns of behavior. Through her gift of counsel and with the leading of Holy Spirit she is able to administer inner healing and deliverance that brings total transformation and freedom to those who encounter her ministry and seek to receive her one to one life coaching services.

Being referred to as “The Wrecking Ball”, Safiya’s assignment is to fully demolish the plans of Satan so that others can fully see God, and walk in his divine purposes, becoming all that He has called them to be.

Safiya is also an author and an ordained Apostle. Alongside her husband Apostle Dexter Terrell, they are the founders and Senior Leaders of the House of Prayer Fellowship Worldwide where they are currently located in two states and two countries.
